My beautiful sister inlaw Nicole, who is also a phenomenal photographer came to visit. So, we went to take some photos of each other! I will be posting hers once the film is developed!

Big Future Plans

HI! I have so many exciting projects that I am working on and big plans for these next few months! Starting with The FIND Workshop in Montauk, New York. The last week in April I get to assist Jonathan Canlas, my awesome boss at his work shop. I went to The FIND Workshop back in October 2011 and it was just perfect. So much knowledge about shooting film and growing your photography business.

The next big thing is Rosalyn Photography is getting a makeover! A new logo and a new website! Hands down my favorite show is "What Not To Wear" and I started getting the itch to do something drastic. But, since I cannot go shopping with Stacy or Clinton and I do not want to chop my hair off, I'm redoing the look of Rosalyn Photography. I'm working with one of my best friends, Emily Camp who is the owner of Design Fancy. Its going to look lovely!

Along with launching the new look and site, I am going to open an Etsy Shop! I have a handful of prints from over the years that I love and I have hanging on the walls in my house. And I want to share the love. Over time I hope it grows and turns into something amazing!

The second weekend of May I have been accepted as a vendor for the Beehive Bazaar! The Bazaar is a local craft show in Provo, UT that I have attended for years. I love seeing what people create! There is art, clothes, crafts and my favorite jewelry! I will be selling my film photography prints. So if you are in Utah, May 8-10 please come stop by and see!

Lastly, I am going to Canada! My little brother is coming home from his mission, I get to be a bridesmaid in my friend Lauren's wedding and I get to photograph a wedding! So, dearest friends in Calgary, if you are thinking of doing some summer photos drop me a line! I will have time set aside on July 8, 14, 15 and 16. Pricing can be found here.

All in all, I'm excited for these changes and upcoming things! Life is fantastic!

personal+salt lake temple

A few weeks ago it was my birthday and it snowed! So I went downtown Salt Lake and shot two rolls of film on the temple grounds. It was me and a handful of people which I think is pretty rare. Right as I started to leave the sun came and broke the clouds and I got that last frame. Which I think is one of my all time favorites.

Stella's Bath

Black and white photos of bath time are pretty much my favorite thing. Also the fact that Stella has more hair to soap up is a lot more fun.

Christmas!

We spent Christmas at Braden's parents house and I shot a little bit of film, indoors. I have never really done that because I'm afraid of underexposing it. But, I thought it turned out pretty good! Stella enjoyed opening presents but after a while she didn't want to stay in the room. She just wanted to go upstairs or play the piano. She got a kitchen and some play food. Braden and I got film salt and pepper shakers. After all the fun I think the girls were a little tired and didnt want their photo taken or forced to stand in the snow! Oh well!

Best of 2013

It has been a great year.
